CTET July Notification 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for Ctet.nic.in July Notification 2023 candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria set by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The eligibility criteria for CTET Exam 2023 are as follows:

For Paper-I: The CTET candidate must have passed their senior secondary or 12th class with at least 50% and should have passed or appeared in the final year of in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or 2-year Diploma in Education.

For Paper-II: The CTET candidates must have a graduation degree and should have passed or appeared in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) or 2-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). CTET Candidates who have a graduation degree and have passed or appeared in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or 4-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) are also eligible to apply for CTET Paper-II.

CTET July Notification 2023 Exam Syllabus

For recruiting teachers for class 1 to 8th in government or CBSE private schools the CBSE conducts a national level exam which is the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET). The CTET 2023 exam is conducted in two papers: CTET Paper-I for candidates who want to teach classes I to V and CTET Paper-II for candidates who want to teach classes VI to VIII.
